• Is it the edge of sea and rock? or a sea of sand? or like someone said, sand and silver? Nice reflections and contrast. I almost don't want to see the color version as the black and white adds to the mystery. Nice angle too.

• No trouble in identifying this as a beach scene for me; I have always lived near the seaside. I suspect that the people are collecting worms or muscles for fishing bait . This type of beach is not like a white sand and aqua coloredsea scene complete with palm trees and bikini clad bathing beauties but it has a very strong seaside feel. I can almost smell the weed on the rocks and sense its wetness. For me this is a much more impressionable image than a glossy tourist holiday beach photo. I like the pattern of the footprints too.
