  I think you may want to bump up the contrast a bit for the black and white in Lightroom. I still get better results in Photoshop for black and white conversion. I haven't quite figured it out in Lightroom. I've come close but usually end up doing it in Photoshop anyway.

  For me, this is an interesting scene because the houses are so different in building style to those in my country. Not only that but the street signs also look different. The light catching on some of the homes make some nice accents in the image.
