I passed by that house in "Rue de Seine" a couple of times and that dog was almost every time in front of that door...
BTW, we were staying in a hotel not so far from the "Boulevard St. Germain" - close to the "Rue de Seine" where the picture was made - which is a really relaxed region to stay in Paris...
