I like the colour version too, but I made the experience that back light images with loosing detail in the sunlight often works better in b&w.

I like the symmetry of your composition but what makes this picture outstanding is the placement of its figures. The couple in front and the group in the middle add a sense of depth to it.

I think this is a great B&W. It conveys the impact of space of the place and the light pervading the air beautifully. I think your processing has worked fine. The color version is good too but I prefer this one.

Another shot from La Défense in Paris. "L'Arche de la Défense" (see one of my previous shots) is right behind me in this one.

I had a real hard time picking the right one for this. I first tried a HDR version, then a regular color version and finally this b&w, which I liked best of all :) For those who are interested, you can find the color version (no hdr) by clicking here...
